300 – And Still Going Strong

I humbly thank all of you for 300 posts. Here is to more!

I said I wasn’t going to do this. I was not going to get worked up like this!

This post marks my 300th. I can’t believe that I have already written you 300 items. Some posts have been long, some have been short. On average, my posts run about 350 words. That is 105000 words!

I only recently started tracking my posting statistics to get a handle on what you all wanted to see. In those 300 posts, I have figured out what I was all about, found out I was a diabetic, and straightened my diet out.

I started a picture log, that died off.

I did a couple of posts on Franken Foods.

I reviewed a cool documentary by Tom Naughton about how we are fed a bunch of Bologna.

In all the posts that I have published, the most popular were:

How Gordon Ramsey ranted on a Well Done steak. I since took it down, because that was not the point of this blog.

After that, a post on how to keep your fresh herbs from dying a horrible death.

The most popular recipe is still my version of Barbecue Chicken Spice. Match that up with the newly popular Spatchcock Chicken tutorial, and you are on the way to an awesome dinner.

It seems that people are most interested in the Kitchen 101 series, and Cooking Explained.

Least popular were my cookbook review posts, and the daily photos that I posted. I am not surprised, as they really did not fit in with what I am trying to do here.

I do absolutely love what I am doing here, and find it fits a niche. I love to teach, and I am still here to inspire you to create REAL food – for your life.
