Tricks of the Trade: Cutting Cherry Tomatoes

I actually get surprised once in a while by an innovative way of doing something. If you have ever had to slice cherry tomatoes in half, you know how it can be a major pain in the ass.

Enter in this new trick: With two lids from a Gen Pack, and some ingenuity, you will have an easier way.

Place your Gen Pack lids down on the cutting board. Place your cherry tomatoes into one of them.

Flip the other Gen Pack lid over top, covering the cherry tomatoes.

Carefully slice the tomatoes with a sharp knife through the middle opening of the two lids.

Remove the top lid, and there you go, a lot of cherry tomatoes sliced in half at the same time!
